They've been ringing almost every single day lately. Honestly, I’m about ready to give them a piece of my mind. Apparently it's some sort of boiler replacement offer. If I was interested in a government programme, I’d go straight to the source, not have to deal with some middleman trying to make a quick buck. And to be honest, I’m not even sure this scheme is legit!

This is definitely a boiler replacement scam. The earlier comment sounds like it’s from someone pushing their own agenda. If you’re eligible for a boiler upgrade, don’t bother giving these muppets a penny - just go straight to the source and apply.

You might find it useful to actually pick up and reply to some of these calls. Since I get some disability allowance and pension credit, and my old gas boiler is quite ancient, I’m entitled to a grant for a brand new boiler. Normally, I’d be looking at paying a few grand, but now I’m getting it without spending a penny. So, not every call has to be a nuisance.

Got a call earlier saying I could get a grant for a new boiler, but I don’t even have gas connected at my place. I explained that to the woman and then quickly ended the call. I’m on the TPS list, but it clearly doesn’t stop these frustrating calls at all. They really should clean up their contact lists and do something about these nuisance calls, though I doubt they will. I’ve blocked the number now.

Been getting calls from this number a couple of times over the last 48 hours. The first was early morning, around half past eight, and then just now at 10.40. Every time I answer, no one says anything and they hang up when I say ‘hello’. Definitely feels like a nuisance call. Really wish they’d just leave me alone.

Got a call from a number I didn’t know, so I just ignored it since there was no voicemail left. After seeing some comments here, I got curious and rang it back. The reply was some recorded message saying ‘THIS NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST ??????’. Needless to say, I’ve blocked it now.

On 21/2/18, at 8:53 in the morning, I got a call from 01786533896. The lady on the line kept asking for someone who died almost three years ago. When I tried to tell her this, she was quite rude and just cut me off before I could finish explaining. If they call again, I’m thinking of playing along - if it’s about a new boiler, I’ll pretend I’m really interested and mess about until they catch on, wasting their time like they do to us all.

Got a call from this number just after nine in the morning. I didn’t pick up as I didn’t know it, which is what I usually do. Even though I’m on the TPS list, these annoying calls still find a way through. Honestly, I wish TPS would check out this brilliant site and block these numbers sooner for those of us who are registered.

Got a call about a government boiler grant and they started asking all sorts - how old my place is, how many rooms, if I get any benefits. When I told them I don't get any benefits, they sounded really annoyed. I’m 81 and only live off my pension. These kinds of calls are so irritating. The bloke even said he’s got my address and postcode.

Got a call at half past eight in the morning from an unknown number. Didn’t pick up and when the answerphone kicked in, I just ended the call. After seeing all the reviews about this same number, pretty relieved I didn’t bother.

I rang the number back and got a recorded message saying I’d dialled the wrong number. Seems like a dodgy scam since the number only lets calls go one way. Really annoying!

This lad claimed he was calling from Kleenezy and kept asking for my name - which he had already used - plus my age and password. I told him Kleenezy doesn’t operate around here and told him off pretty harshly. Before hanging up, I let out a loud whistle right in his ear, hope it rattled his brains! Ended up blocking the number straightaway.

Some idiot rang my 90-year-old neighbour, who lives alone, about half eleven this morning, and absolutely terrified her. He kept going on about how the government said her radiators were illegal and threatened to "come round and take them out". The bloke was really nasty and even said he knew where she lived. She was so frightened, poor lady. What’s this guy trying to pull off?
