Someone rang asking for a Lillian Hall. I told them there’s no one by that name here. Then they started going on about life insurance, so I said, “You phoned this number for LH, she’s not here and I don’t want to talk to you.” The caller kept on selling, so I cut in with, “Just so you know, with GDPR rules, you’re not allowed to cold call me and I’m not interested.” Still, they went on, so I said again I’d be reporting the number, and then they hung up. Absolute nuisances who think they can dodge GDPR!
