I heard music playing when I picked up the call, as if I were being put on hold. But after only a few seconds, the call got disconnected. I calmly replied, "You dialed my number to speak with LH, but she is not connected to this number, and I have no interest in speaking with you." However, he persisted in his sales pitch, so I interrupted once again and reminded him about the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which prevents cold calling without consent. I reiterated that I did not want to speak with him. He ignored my reminder, so I repeated myself and informed him that I would report his number. Afterward, he abruptly ended the call. These annoying individuals have managed to find ways around the GDPR regulations.
