Beware, total scam! Got a call from this bloke saying he was with BT tech support, saying they’d seen my internet wasn’t running as fast as I’m paying for. He claimed my broadband provider had told them about the issue. He told me to test my speed first and then asked me to install an app to remove viruses. Then he wanted some kind of code from my PC. Don’t ever install that software or give them any codes - it’s just a way for them to take control of your computer and mess about with it however they like.

No one says a thing and they dont leave any voice message when I pick up the phone. Seems like a silent call or something.

Total weirdos, honestly.

I had the exact same thing happen, as soon as I picked up the call just ended. Tried calling back the number and even checked if it was hidden but when I rang it, all I got was silence.
