Got another recorded call the other day, some spiel about replacing windows with "green energy" stuff. The caller ID showed "International" which threw me off, but somehow my call blocker didn’t catch it, and neither did BT's filtering. The number shifts every time I block it, but the same annoying message pops up again within a few days. Proper pain!

This number kept calling me non stop all day, so I finally picked up. They claimed that starting tomorrow, I wouldn’t receive any more spam calls. When I asked them to say it again, they just cut the call off. Definitely just some dodgy spam or scam.

The number started with what seemed like a Stirling area code, but it had way too many numbers to be real. I didn't answer, and they didn't bother leaving a voicemail. Usually, if it’s something important, they’ll drop a message, right?

This is definitely a spoof and spam call. The number had 12 digits, but in the UK, landlines and mobiles only have 11. Luckily, my call blocker picked it up and stopped it from ringing through.

I’ve tried pressing the option to remove my number so many times, but they just ignore it. This time, I chose to press "2" so I could chat to someone directly. Next time they ring, I’m planning to schedule a visit to my house and tell the caller face-to-face that I’m not interested and want them to stop ringing me. I’ve done something similar before and it really gets to them - they hate having their time wasted, which is exactly what they do when bothering us. I’m even thinking about asking a local paper photographer to come along for the visit.

Had some dodgy characters ring me pretending to be from Windows, saying my computer was infected. They tried to get me to let them control my PC to "fix" it, but I reckon it was just a trick to plant a virus and then charge me to sort it out. Proper scam if you ask me.
