I just got a rather dubious call from a robotic voice telling me that my Amazon Prime subscription was due for renewal and that they would be charging me an extra fee. It immediately raised my suspicions, as I've been a Prime member for ages and I'm well aware of how Amazon operates. This is not at all the manner in which they do things; it has scam written all over it.

Someone from 01785712771 called me claiming there was a big refund from Sky and asked for my bank details. I found it odd since Sky already withdraws payments from my account every month, so they must have the info. I just ended the call straight away.

I received a bizarre automated message from this number, attempting to pull off some sort of dodgy scam. It claimed that my Prime account was at risk of being taken away by Amazon without any valid cause. What a complete con!
