I received two calls today, one from 01785 631592 at 10:19, during which my wife intervened and explained that I manage all the financial matters, so they should call back later. The second call came from 01785 663819 at 11:02, and it seemed to be the same individual, this time mentioning an issue with a £95 payment concerning Amazon Prime. I picked up the second call myself and made it clear that I don’t use Amazon Prime. When the caller suggested that the payment could be refunded, I started to feel wary. I then warned him that if he continued his line of questioning, I would take the matter to a solicitor. To my utter disbelief, he unleashed a torrent of abusive language which was quite shocking and I'd rather not repeat.
