This number rang me and asked for me directly by name. I have no clue who they were or what company it was. The woman said it was about a survey related to household stuff or something. I told her I’m not taking part in any surveys. No idea how they got my details but I want them taken off their calling list. Really pushy bloke, started rattling off my full name, address and postcode. When I asked what the call was regarding, he just said ‘just say yes or no if that info’s correct.’ I asked again what the call was about, he mumbled something about smoking. Got a call from a bloke who already knew my full name! Then he asked me to verify my mobile number, to which I replied, "You’re the one ringing me, so you should already have it!" After that, he said he just wanted to ask me a couple of questions... What caught me off guard straight away was that it was a local number. The guy sounded foreign and eventually got annoyed and just hung up on me! I’ve blocked the number now. Feels good to check on who-calls.me.uk and find out it was probably a scam or something dodgy.

Got a call at 8:30 in the morning and then another one at 6:26 in the evening. No clue who it was, didn’t pick up since Truecaller showed it as Silent Stranger. Loads of spam reports, around 39. Just went ahead and blocked it.

I get loads of calls everyday. Most of the time it just shows as a silent call, and most of them end up being scammers who dont bother leaving any message. My rule is if they dont leave a message I just dont bother calling back, and I block numbers like this too.

I got a call from a lady named "Marie" from some place called "Today's Living." She spoke with a thick Indian accent and said she was doing a quick marketing survey for some of the biggest companies in the UK. She assured me it wouldn't take more than 5 mins. I just said thanks and ended the call.

No idea where they claimed to be calling from. They asked for me using my old surname, which I stopped using more than 7 years ago. I said I didn’t recognise the name, so they must have the wrong number. Then they said maybe I could still assist and had some questions, but I just ended the call there. If you say you’re not the person they want and they keep pushing, it’s obviously dodgy!
