A chap called me up and, to my surprise, he had my entire name! He insisted I verify my mobile number, to which I responded, “Well, you must already have it if you’ve called me!” He then started to claim he merely wanted to ask a handful of questions. The whole situation seemed odd, particularly since he had a local area code. In the end, he seemed to lose patience and ended the call! His accent sounded foreign... I’ve since blocked the number. Pleased to find out on who-calls.me.uk that it’s been flagged as a scam or something dodgy.

I got a call from a lady named "Marie" from some place called "Today's Living." She spoke with a thick Indian accent and said she was doing a quick marketing survey for some of the biggest companies in the UK. She assured me it wouldn't take more than 5 mins. I just said thanks and ended the call.

No idea where they claimed to be calling from. They asked for me using my old surname, which I stopped using more than 7 years ago. I said I didn’t recognise the name, so they must have the wrong number. Then they said maybe I could still assist and had some questions, but I just ended the call there. If you say you’re not the person they want and they keep pushing, it’s obviously dodgy!
