I’m baffled by the barrage of calls I've been receiving lately! Over the last few months, I've had five separate calls, all from various numbers claiming to be from 'Amazon call centres.' They keep going on about renewing a Prime account that I've never even subscribed to! It leaves me wondering, how on earth do these scammers manage to get hold of my number in the first place?

Got a couple of calls from this number that I didn’t answer, plus there was a voicemail but no sound on it.

Loads of calls came through today but every time I picked up, the person on the other end just hung up straight away.

I got this automated message telling me to press 1 to cancel a £600 transaction to some overseas location. Seemed dodgy to me, so I didn’t bother pressing anything. I’m pretty sure my bank would ring me themselves if there was really a problem like that.
