Got a call from someone claiming to be from the “phone preference service” - all the way from India! They tried to get my credit card info, saying they'd stop all those annoying spam calls forever. Yeah right, lifetime guarantee and all that. I just kept them chatting for ages so they wouldn't have the chance to scam some innocent pensioner like my mum or dad. Total scam warning! Scam warning! Scam warning! Scam warning! Scam warning!
