01785 257927 - I’m not sure why folks are saying this number is a scam or anything dodgy. It’s actually the line that connects to my mum’s carer service. When she hits her emergency button, this number is what they call. If people reckon it’s a scam, maybe someone’s spoofing it without the company realising. But from what I know, it’s legit.

Got calls in the wee small hours from an elderly sounding person about 4 times between October and November 2022. Ended up costing me around 10 quid.

Got a robotic call warning me my internet would be cut off in 24 hours. I pressed 1 and got connected to a call centre person who claimed there was an issue with my account and my broadband was going to be stopped. I told her nothing was wrong and the white light was showing steady like always. She seemed a bit surprised and insisted the fault was definitely on my end.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from BT, warning me that my internet service was at risk of being cut off. They urged me to press 2 to speak with tech support. It ended up costing me 94p, which is rather annoying; I dread to think what it might have racked up if I'd stayed on the line any longer before I decided to hang up!

What a fraudulent nuisance! Just another case of scammers trying their luck. They’re truly the lowest of the low!
