I got a call from this number claiming to be BT, saying there was a fault they needed me to sort out. They wanted me to grab my computer so they could do some checks, which seemed a bit dodgy. I told them to give me a reference or fault number and said I’d ring them back. The person got quite pushy and kept saying they’d ring me again. The number called me multiple times, but I just told them the same thing before hanging up. It’s possible this number was redirected through other lines too.
