My daughter picked up the phone and the person on the other end asked for me by name. She told them I wasn’t there and they said it was about an accident I’d supposedly been in, asking her to pass on that they’d called. She refused and just ended the call. Right after, I got a call on my mobile from 0161 354 9924, which my phone flagged as spam. I reckon it’s connected since I’ve had similar insurance-related calls from numbers beginning with 0161. Plus, I’ve had loads of calls this week from 01784 819 612 too.

today ive been receiving loads of calls but every time i pick up they just hang up straight away :/ total chaos!

So this company called me trying to get me to file bogus insurance claims about an event that actually happened but was sorted ages ago. Proper dodgy behaviour if you ask me.
