Got a call supposedly “from BT” saying they’d be coming today and to press 1 to speak to the tech team. My dad-in-law, who’s quite elderly, got the same one and I rang BT to check - they said it’s a scam. Best thing is just hang up, don’t press 1 or you might end up paying something like £3 a minute. They ring from loads of different numbers too; we got another one from 01804 64936 just 20 minutes later. Proper annoying!
