Received a call from a visible number. I picked it up, but the line went completely silent. That was the end of that!

This number rings me loads, but when I pick up, it's just silence. If I try ringing back, some automated message says "this call is very important to us, please stay on the line," which honestly sounds dodgy. Makes me think it could be a scam, maybe trying to charge my phone somehow? Caller shows as Unknown.
