Got a message like that too, saying my internet would be cut off in a day, supposedly from ‘my internet company’, but they haven’t got a clue who I’m with. They messaged me a few weeks back as well and, as expected, nothing ever happened. Honestly, the police really ought to step in and put a stop to this kind of fraud. It’s so obvious it’s a scam.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be my internet company, saying my IP got hacked and if I wanted to keep online I had to ring a number or else my connection would get cut off. This is the second time I’ve had this kind of call, but last time my internet kept working fine! I’ve blocked the number now but I swear I blocked it the first time too, maybe they’ve switched to a new number or something?

Got a call where the person said hackers from other countries had got into my IP address and warned me my internet would get cut off by midnight if I didn't follow their instructions. They said they were calling from BT.
