Got a call from some bloke claiming to be "Steve" from India, saying I needed to renew insurance for my washing machine! I told him I never even signed up for anything like that, so how am I supposed to renew it? He got all shirty, insisting I’d given my bank info and warning me I'd be blacklisted now. I just told him he sounded like a right numpty and told him to jog on! Be careful out there, folks. Stay safe! x

Typical rubbish again! Got a call from some bloke claiming to be "Steve" from India, trying to get my bank info to supposedly 'renew' my washing machine cover. I said I never signed up for that in the first place, so how could I be renewing it? He started arguing, insisting I must be wrong and that if I don't hand over my details, I'd end up blacklisted! Told him to jog on and mind his own business. Stay careful out there, folks! x

here we go again with dodgy calls from abroad. got a call about some kind of appliance insurance renewal, but i dont even have one. the number showed up as from the staines area, but i reckon it's from miles away. they kept saying it wasn't a scam! well, blocked them straight away.

I tried calling this number back but got a message saying it wasn’t recognised. Seems a bit fishy to me! So I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

Someone rang me saying they were from a firm called Household Appliance Services, claiming they could help me save on my washing machine service plan. Funny, because I don’t have any such plan at all. The bloke said his name was Max, but his accent didn’t really match that name. When I told him I hadn’t got a service agreement, he insisted I must be wrong and maybe forgot about an annual fee. He was quite pushy, trying hard to get me to share personal details. Eventually, I told him not to call again and ended the call.
