Someone rang and wanted to speak to me but when my wife asked who was calling, they just ended the call.

I got a call where the person was asking specifically for my husband by name, saying they wanted to book him in for a hearing check because of supposed work with heavy equipment. Thing is, he’s never done anything like that in his life. When he asked how they got his info, their response was really vague and didn’t make sense. Feels like they’re likely breaking GDPR rules or something.

someone rang asking for my husband so i said i was his wife and asked if they wanted to leave a message. they said they’ll call back later and if he’s not there they’d hang up. they never said who they were. i did recognise it was a stoke area code though.

Got a call on my mobile at 4.09 pm today from someone trying to sell upgraded seats for a TUi flight we’ve got booked in September. She even mentioned my wife’s name as the main passenger, which was a bit odd. They quoted £33 each, way less than what TUI asks for the same upgrade. Feels like a total scam to me.
