On Thursday 18th April 2024, I got a call from this number and some recorded message said there was an issue with my visa card. I ended the call straight away since I don’t even own a visa card. Seems like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a call from this number but wasn’t able to answer it. There wasn’t any voicemail left and I don’t recognise the number at all. I’ve no clue why someone from Stoke On Trent would ring me, so I’m pretty sure it was one of those scam calls.

My landline rang from 017827282693, and the caller claimed to be from BT, saying there was ‘illegal activity’ on my gear and told me to switch on my iPad. The voice sounded like it was from some Indian call centre. The call kept breaking up, which made me really doubtful because BT calls never do that. I told them, “I reckon this is a scam,” and hung up straight away.

Got a ring from this number earlier and after looking it up, BT said it’s not connected to them at all - best to ignore this AI call, don’t answer it.
