This number popped up on my phone with a missed call but no voicemail or anything. A close number to this one rang me not long ago too, so I reckon it might be from the same call centre or telemarketers? I’m not keen on ringing back as it’s an unknown number - feels like some automatic system seeing if my phone picks up, and I’m not about to let them know I’m actually here. Has anyone else picked up when it rang? Who’s actually calling from this number?

My 81-year-old mum has been getting calls nonstop about owing £700 to some Amazon thing. She hasn’t got a clue what they mean by Amazon - she’s thinking it’s something to do with the rainforest! It’s really thrown her off and upset her. Just thought I’d warn everyone else to watch out for this kind of scam.
