I received a call today regarding an insurance claim I'm currently processing. The caller spun a whole tale of untruths and inquired whether I had signed any documents related to my vehicle insurance claim. When I requested clarification about their identity and asked them to provide written confirmation, the individual, who identified herself as Sophie Williams, abruptly cut the line. Quite suspicious, if you ask me.

They rang me twice within five minutes after I asked too many questions the first time. Then some bloke claiming to be a ‘supervisor’ called to apologise but just kept trying to scam me! Ended up hanging up and blocking the number.

They rang me three times within a day, saying they were representing the other driver from the crash. Got really hostile when I told them I only speak with my insurer. Then they called again a fourth time, warned me to "remember this call when your rates rise" and just hung up on me.

This number kept ringing me nonstop for days, so I finally picked up out of irritation. The bloke said he was from an insurance firm and made it sound very convincing about some car crash I'd supposedly been in last September and said I could claim £1,500 compensation for injuries (which is rubbish, I wasn’t hurt at all). He was adamant on sending a courier to my house with forms to sign so I could get the money before Christmas! Claimed they couldn’t post anything due to data privacy rules and risk being sued if it got lost. Totally dodgy - watch out for this one!

01782 694381 - Justin called me saying someone hit me from behind back in May 2018 and wants to claim for injuries. I rang back but they just hung up on me. What a load of rubbish. Blocked the number straight away. I’m absolutely fed up with these calls about fake injury claims that never happened. No surprise insurance premiums keep rising with all these scammy firms and the folks who make these pointless claims for made-up injuries. The extra cash has to come from us who actually pay insurance.

Got a call from this number today about a car accident supposedly 6 months ago (which I've never had). I told them I had no idea what they were talking about and to remove me from their list. The guy insisted they had a record of an evaluation after my crash (still, no accident ever happened). I repeated to take me off their system. Then he swore at me and hung up. Tried calling back to report the rude language but couldn’t get through. Pretty suspicious if you ask me! Avoid answering calls from this number!

Got a call today from a Stoke-on-Trent number. They said an engineer looked at my car after a crash in May. Some parts of their story seemed off when I asked questions, so they just ended the call. I've put the number straight onto my block list now!

Got a call off someone saying they were from an insurance company about a car crash I supposedly had. They knew bits of my info but some things didn’t add up. When I asked who exactly they were, they said they worked for the DVLA accident investigation team. I asked what the DVLA had to do with my crash and they just ended the call. Checked with my own insurers and they said it was definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number.

I received a call earlier from someone wanting to chat with my son. They mentioned his name accurately, which piqued my curiosity. When I probed about the nature of the call, he mentioned an incident in May and even cited my son's van registration number. However, when I pressed for further details regarding the purpose of his call, he skirted the question entirely. Curious about how he obtained my mobile number, I asked again, but before I could get a reply, he hung up on me! I attempted to ring him back, but the line was perpetually busy and eventually just disconnected. Quite the peculiar experience, I must say!

Someone rang me pretending to be from the car inspection place, even knew about an accident I had 5 months back, said I might be owed between £1500 and £4000. I said no thanks, but they kept ringing me, about 5 times straight away and the first thing one bloke said was "why wont you talk to me?" Then I got called 6 more times by different people from the same place. Properly annoying and felt like harassment!

Some bloke called himself Arran from the DVLA Motor Investigation Team, saying he was checking up on an accident claim I’m meant to be involved in. When I got a bit dodgy with my answers, he just ended the call.
