I received a rather dubious call from a woman who reeked of being a scam artist! She had a pronounced Asian accent and went on to assert that she represented the company that made my washing machine. Apparently, she said that my warranty was nearing its end and she was eager to assist me in renewing it. Quite the shady operation, if you ask me!

Got a call from a young lady claiming to be from something like D.U.G. (i'm guessing she was tryin to say D&G, Domestic and General which i actually have insurance with). She was telling me my washing machine warranty had run out, but i told her it was still valid and that i'd get the warranty papers to prove it. She just ended the call after that. I couldn't catch her real name, probably fake anyway.

I honestly couldn’t remember ever taking out that kind of insurance, so I told them it seemed pricey and asked them to email me the info. When I tried calling them back on that number, I got nothing - no answer at all. I then checked the number here and saw it was rated "dangerous." The person on the phone was a polite woman, though.
