Just got a dodgy call today 14/02/23 at 11:22am. It was one of those robotic Amazon scam calls saying I'd made 2 payments, one supposedly from abroad costing more than £1000. Honestly, I can't believe people fall for this nonsense, it's just daft.

My organisation got a similar email too-it’s definitely a phishing attempt.

I've received the identical email from Diana Jones, the one where they claim that a payment of £237.42 was mistakenly made by us. I’ve thoroughly reviewed my bank statements, and I can confirm that this amount hasn’t been disbursed to any party. Feels rather dodgy, if you ask me!

I got an email from an @cariniair.com address claiming we'd paid £237.42 last Monday and asking what the order was for. Definitely a scam, since the company is actually based in the US. Do NOT call the number they provide!

Our firm, hailing from Germany, has encountered this email, and thankfully, through this website, I was able to uncover its fraudulent nature. A massive shoutout to the genuine Carini Air for shedding light on the situation here.

We've received a total of eight emails from this outfit, and I must say, they all seem to be using the same phrases that others have mentioned. It’s quite clearly a scam. The message reads: "Greetings! We've processed a payment of £237.42 on Monday from your company - could you provide us with details regarding which order this pertains to? Kindly find the remittance receipt attached." Cheers, Diana Jones Carini Heating, Air & Plumbing Unit 2 Meakins Row Fenton Stoke-On-Trent ST4 3FG Tel: 01782 659022. Beware, folks!

There’s a dodgy individual out there misusing our company name. Just so you know, we're not based in the UK at all, so steer clear of them!

I received an email regarding a payment supposedly from my business. The message appears quite credible, but I can’t seem to find any record of a UK company matching that name at the specified address. It’s all rather puzzling!

I’ve received several emails that are all identical, claiming that I’ve sent a payment of £237.42, complete with a supposed remittance receipt attached. However, there’s nothing attached at all! The company information seems to be a bizarre mix of a UK business and a US site. It’s clearly a dodgy phishing scam, if you ask me.

I didn't get a phone call but an email from this number instead. It looks like a scam to me since the company claims to be US-based but talks about us paying £ on Monday. The address and phone number they gave are from the UK, which makes it suspicious. We definitely haven't paid anything to them, so I'm guessing it's a fraud. I'm not going to reply and have already added them to my block list.

We've encountered two emails from this outfit to date, and rather suspiciously, both messages echo the same phrasing as described by multiple individuals. It's clear this is a scam. Dear Sir/Madam, We were notified of a payment amounting to £237.42 received on Monday from your business. Could you kindly shed some light on what order this might pertain to? Attached is the remittance receipt for your reference. Best regards, Diana Jones Carini Heating, Air & Plumbing Unit 2 Meakins Row Fenton Stoke-On-Trent ST4 3FG Phone: 01782 659022

Received an email that simply started with "Hello," lacking any proper salutation, which made it feel quite dodgy. It's best to steer clear of this one. There was also no payment information included, and overall, it just seemed rather suspicious and untrustworthy. Best to give it a miss!

I experienced the very same thing today when I arrived at the office; received an identical email. The link directs to a US-based firm, and upon reviewing our accounts, I can confirm that no transactions have occurred. Definitely a scam.

I received a similar message. It’s rather peculiar how much they’re requesting, don’t you think?

Greetings all, I sincerely apologise for any confusion. I'm affiliated with the genuine Carini located in San Diego, California. It appears that someone over in the UK is attempting to exploit our company's name to trick unsuspecting individuals. They've concocted a ruse using a different address and phone number from yet another firm in the UK for their email communications. Honestly, the volume of messages, calls, and online queries we've been receiving from concerned UK residents has been overwhelming. I'm quite puzzled as to why we’ve been chosen for this dubious scheme, but please rest assured, this is NOT us. I've taken the necessary steps by reporting them to IC3 and notifying their domain host. For clarity, our official website is cairniair.com, while those fraudulent crooks are operating under cariniiair.com. I've even reached out to the scammer myself, but I'm at a loss for what further actions I can take. I truly regret any trouble this may have caused. Thank you for your understanding.

Got an email that looked like it was from “cariniair.com” saying we’d accidentally transferred them £237.42. The contact info mentioned Stoke-on-Trent, but the site itself is actually based in San Diego. They sent the same message twice, once on the 29th of March and then again on the 1st of April. Gotta admit, it’s a pretty clever con. Well played, scammers.

I received an email associated with this number, and it raised quite a few red flags for me. The message stated, “A payment of £237.42 was made on Monday from your firm-could you provide some insight into what order this pertains to?” It was signed by Diana Jones from Carini Heating, Air & Plumbing, with the contact number 01782 659022. Honestly, it’s clear as day that this is spam since it was sent to an email address that we rarely utilise.

I’ve noticed the same email and it raises a few red flags, just like the other remarks here. It definitely gives off a dodgy vibe, very reminiscent of phishing attempts.

Lately, I've noticed I've been getting the same email on repeated occasions. The sender, cariniair com, appears to be a genuine California-based enterprise. However, if you take a closer look at the “Reply to” address included in the message, you'll spot that it deviates from the “From” address. The reply address features an unusual twist - it has a pair of 'i's nestled together, making it cariniiair com. It’s got all the hallmarks of a scam, if you ask me!

Got an email today with this number in it. I checked Google and it seems linked to some "eyelid centre", which made me suspicious straight away. Felt like a total scam. The message said something like, “Hi there, we got a payment of £237.42 from your company on Monday. Can you tell us which order this is for? See the attached remittance receipt. Thanks, Diana Jones, Carini Heating, Air & Plumbing, Unit 2 Meakins Row, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 3FG, Tel: 01782 659022.” Definitely seemed dodgy to me!
