Just like others have said, this woman rang me up saying I’d won an Amazon gift card. Then she started going on about me winning 9 lines 36 times on some kind of Euro lottery. She even knew my name, where I live, and my email, which was a bit creepy. I told her to get lost straight away.

Some bloke rang me claiming I’d won a prize from a contest I supposedly signed up for online and said I was entitled to 10 free tickets for Friday’s lottery. He asked me to pick numbers and then started asking for my bank info. I never handed over anything but was startled that he already had my full name, email, and address! I hung up sharpish and blocked the caller straight away.
