some person with an accent i couldn’t place said they were from talktalk and told me there was a fault with my router and computer. they wanted me to switch on my pc and do what they said, but i just refused and ended the call.

Got a call from this number again today, heard what seemed like a call centre buzzing away in the background - then they just went quiet and ended the call.

similar to other reports i seen today, call cut off with loads of noise in the background. we get loads of calls pretending to be talktalk too, but what bugs me is, why call if they don’t actually wanna talk? maybe they’re just trying to check if someone’s home? could be trying to get access to our phone line when we don’t pick up, or suss out when the house is empty? im defo gonna keep an eye out if they ring again when i’m not here. also, is that number from stoke-on-trent or is it some indian call?

As soon as I picked up the phone, they just ended the call, dunno if it was a wrong number or some kinda scam!

I got a call from a woman saying she was from TalkTalk, saying there were issues with my internet. When I told her to send me an email instead, she just hung up straight away.
