What a bunch of absolute muppets, clearly without any meaningful pursuits, simply intent on frittering away your precious time with utter nonsense. I’d recommend getting in touch with your service provider about blocking that number.

I’ve had calls from a nearly identical number in the past, and although I’ve blocked those ones, I reckon they’re probably from some call centre that just switches to a different number when blocked. Properly irritating!

Got a call through my BT Call Guardian that was supposed to be announced. A young bloke called Dan with a British accent said his name, but hung up just as I was about to answer. Reckon it’s the same lot who kept ringing about switching phone providers a few weeks ago from another Stoke number. I've blocked that number now on my BT Call Guardian - sorted!

I don’t get why these places even ring up if they just hang up as soon as you pick up. Seems like a dodgy call centre that won’t bother calling back again.

I've received a fair few calls from 'connect', and honestly, they’re incredibly insistent and seem to have no grasp of the word 'no'. What I find particularly unsettling is their claims of being in the neighbourhood and their intention to 'drop by' my home unannounced. While I’m not too phased by it myself, I can't help but think about how their relentless approach could make those who are more vulnerable, especially the elderly, quite uneasy. It makes you wonder how many have fallen for their tactics, as any reputable company wouldn’t behave in such a manner.
