I got a call from this number today, and the person on the line claimed to be from Lloyds Bank. He was saying something about my TV licence being expired and that I needed to pay up quickly. As soon as I worked out it was fishy, I told him I wasn’t daft and then he hung up. The whole call went on for about 15 to 20 minutes. After about quarter of an hour, I rang back and it turned out to be the same bloke again.

Got a call from this number but they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail, so it probably wasn’t anything urgent. I don’t have a clue who it is, so I’m guessing it was either some annoying sales pitch or just another scam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Someone called asking for a family member by name. I told them that no one with that name lives here anymore, which is right because she’s married now, living elsewhere, and goes by her married name. After hearing that, the caller just ended the call.

It was just one of those annoying spam calls. As soon as I answered and said hello, I heard voices in the background that sounded like a call centre. Decided to just block the number straight away.

I received a call from 01782 621697, and the person on the other end was trying to reach someone in my house who has recently changed their name. I explained that there’s no one by that name here anymore, and then they just hung up. Very peculiar!
