I've just received a phone call from this number. A woman claimed she was contacting me on behalf of her uncle (what a shocker!) who was apparently working nearby. Mind you, we’re ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service. When I inquired about how they obtained my number, she admitted she had no clue but insisted that her uncle, a local builder, must have worked on our property ages ago. Absolute nonsense! I've been getting incessant calls from someone seeking a Mrs Elliott. Every time I inform them that this number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service, they abruptly end the call. Quite frustrating, really!
