I received a rather peculiar phone call late last night, around 10 in the evening. The lady on the other end inquired about whom she had reached. In a moment of naivety, I revealed my name to her. She appeared to be quite elderly and repeatedly expressed her apologies for disturbing me. To my surprise, the same number rang me again roughly ten minutes later, but this time, I decided not to pick up. Quite the odd encounter, wouldn't you agree?
