Got a call claiming it was about TV insurance, seemed fishy to me. Definitely felt like some kind of scam.

I tried calling 1471 but no one picked up.

So I've been told by a lady from abroad that my telly should require less upkeep...but honestly, who knows? It's all rather tedious, isn't it?

rang the number back, didn’t show up on my phone - total scam, so i’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

I ignored the call since the number was blocked. Looked it up here and realised it’s the same one that called me earlier this week. I’m not interested in any service contract so I’ll just keep blocking them every time they ring!

This number keeps ringing me non-stop. Whenever I pick up, I just hear silence for a moment, then a quick click, and the call ends. Really strange!

Got a call from a woman who sounded quite polite, saying something about lowering my "service agreement" for my telly. She mentioned my Samsung TV was covered or insured or something - but I don't even own a Samsung, actually, we don't even have a telly now! I kept chatting for a bit just to see where it was going, then she suddenly got rude. Pretty typical scam really, nothing fresh. Best thing is to just steer clear of these calls.

They actually knew my full name but refused to say who they were when I asked. Then, they just ended the call after I asked one more time!

I just stayed quiet and waited for them to say something. After a little while, they ended the call and hung up.

01782 504105 Got a call saying they’d picked up on loads more unwanted calls coming my way, either scams or just plain annoying ones that keep bothering me. They claimed for £185 a year they could make those calls stop. Yeah, sure!!!

Got a phone call from some bloke with a strong accent, I wasn't having any of it so I went a bit mad asking what on earth he wanted and told him to do one. He just hung up. Honestly, I've no patience left for these lot. The best way I've found is to give them a good telling off. It's high time these freeloaders found real work instead of trying to scam people.

Got a call from a man called Joseph from India about my TV. I told him straight up to never ring me again or else I’d come after him and cut his throat. These scam calls are getting too much, always trying to take money off folks. Not putting up with this rubbish any longer.

I didn’t pick up the call and they didn’t bother to leave a message, kind of like loads of other numbers I've blocked and later looked up.
