I got a call from someone saying they were from United Utilities Water Plus, needing info about water meters supposedly installed at our place. I told them I only take messages but all they said was their name and this phone number. Thing is, we don’t have any water meters here, so I figured straight away it was some kind of scam!

10-48 on 5/8/24. Got the same annoying scam call from those usual people again this week. Told them to buzz off straight away. Didn’t stick around to learn what rubbish they were peddling. Been pretty lucky with no scam calls for the last two or three weeks until now!

I think it’s a scam, it rang me and apparently I’m the 16th person they’ve tried. I answered but then they just hung up on me!!!!
