My phone flashed ‘international’ and then a voice told me to hit 1 so they wouldn’t take 600 quid from my card for some overseas thing - total scam alert!

I got a call from this number and it looked pretty genuine, kinda like one I usually get calls from. When I ringed back, thinkin it was that person, it just says "unknown number". So yeah, I've gone and blocked it now!

They rang me but didn't leave any voicemail or text, so I’m not bothering to return the call. Feels like one of those schemes where they just need a handful of people to get back to them to make some cash. Best steer clear, really.

Honestly, I reckon they’re just trying to trick people and collect live phone numbers to sell on. If they were genuine about doing business, they wouldn’t be using automated calls all the time. Total scam, watch out!
