I’ve been receiving persistent calls from this number, along with two others: 01302 357522 and 01454601143. Today, I decided to ring them back, concealed by 141, so they wouldn’t know it was my landline. An automated voice responded, saying, “Hello, you’ve reached ACA. We apologise, but at present our agents are unavailable due to a surge in call volume. Our standard hours are Monday to Thursday, 11 am to 7 pm, and Friday, 10 am to 6 pm.” At that point, I opted to disconnect. Curiously, all three numbers delivered the same message, and they all identify as ACA. At one time, I picked up an incoming call from them, mistakenly believing it was my sister calling from Stoke on their 01782 number. Ever since, they’ve bombarded me with unsolicited information regarding PPI claims, despite my never having had any PPI in the first place. What’s more frustrating is that they keep misidentifying me by someone else’s name and refuse to pause long enough for me to correct them. This really feels like a scam operation, cleverly using different numbers to mask their tracks. I’ve registered with the Telephone Preference Service for all my contact numbers, so they ought to know better than to pester me! - caller: ACA (suspected PPI fraudsters)

I unexpectedly received a call from 01782 436400, claiming to inquire about an accident that supposedly occurred within the last three years. The truth is, I've had no such incident at all.
