Honestly, this bloke was so rude! He said he wasn’t calling just to make me smile, then asked if I thought it was funny - like seriously, did I?? He kept going on about some internet provider and using my name, but the account isn’t even under me, so I knew straight away it was a dodgy scam.

So I got a call claiming to be from Microsoft telling me my computer was compromised. When I asked some questions, they started threatening to shut down my PC. They were pretty rude and pushy when I refused to go along with it. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
