I received a call from a number I didn’t know, so I picked up, only to hear a robotic lady on the other end saying, “Hello, valued Amazon customer…” Before I could hear more, I hung up. Sounds like the scammers have stolen a local number for their tricks. I got a recorded message starting all weird with “Dear customer, this is Amazon…” so I hung up straight away. Since it’s a number that looks legit, it might fool some folks. Watch out for this kind of thing!
