I just picked up a call from this number because the area code looked like it was from Stoke on Trent, so I thought maybe it was someone I knew. A woman on the line told me I was on a suspended list because of a timeshare issue and said I could get a free consultation through her company before I got hit by a big debt notice. When I asked why the number had a Newcastle code, she said she was working remotely and their main office was in Cheltenham. I stayed polite but declined and ended the call. It wasn’t one of those utilities scams, but it definitely felt fishy and was an uninvited call.
