I rang Co-operative Bank myself and they confirmed that it's definitely one of their numbers. But honestly, I would never share any personal info with someone who calls out of the blue. Best thing is to just hang up and ring the bank directly. There are so many scams going around these days, it baffles me why any bank would reach out like this over the phone.

I got a missed call and decided to call back. A woman named Irene answered, claiming she was from the Co-operative Bank in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, using the number 01782 2716131. She asked why I’d called her and requested my surname. I asked her why she’d contacted me in the first place, explaining I’d never been contacted by the Co-op Bank like this before. Then she just hung up. When I looked up the Co-op Hanley phone number, I found it was actually 01782 206672 or 0345 724 2212, not the one she called from.

Got a missed call from this number, rang back but it just rang a couple of times before the call dropped. Seems like it might be some sort of call centre or a one-way line that doesn’t pick up incoming calls. They didn’t leave a voicemail or anything, so there’s no way to get in touch again. Not very useful at all!

I saw a missed call from +44 1782 271613, which is from Stoke-on-Trent, England. The phone never actually rung though. When I called the number back, no one picked up and there wasn’t any voicemail message left. Bit strange really.

Sounds like it was just a mix-up, the person on the other end was trying to reach a lady doctor by her name. Pretty sure it wasn’t anything dodgy.

No clue who that was. We were outside in the garden so the phone must've been ringing without us noticing. Bit curious to find out who it might be. It can't have been anything urgent since it was around lunch and they never tried calling back.
