Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky tech support, saying they were checking on problems with my broadband. Funny enough, I just switched to NowTV broadband and have had a few glitches recently. They asked me to do a speed test and then tried to get remote access to my computer to supposedly show some error logs. I refused to let them connect remotely, and that’s when they cut the call. Seemed pretty believable and I can see how anyone not well-versed in tech stuff might fall for it. Just be cautious, folks.
