I received a rather suspicious call from someone masquerading as a representative from Sky Technical Services, claiming they were looking into some problems with my broadband. Oddly enough, I had recently signed up for NowTV broadband and had been encountering a few hiccups myself. They requested that I perform a speed test and then suggested they needed to remotely access my computer to display certain error logs. When I firmly declined their offer to connect to my system remotely, they promptly ended the call. I must say, they were quite persuasive, and anyone not particularly knowledgeable about technology could easily fall for it. Stay vigilant, everyone!
