I've been inundated with nuisance calls lately, and it's incredibly frustrating! They ring me up and then just cut off without saying a word. It’s really quite tiresome!

I received a rather dodgy phone call that had all the hallmarks of a call centre. The person on the line, who had quite a pronounced accent, said they were from Sky’s technical support, apparently wanting to discuss my broadband service. The thing is, I'm not even a Sky customer, nor do I have any problems with my internet connection! Odd, isn’t it?

Got a ring with loads of background noise, some bloke from a call centre saying he was from Sky's "Technical Department" asking if my broadband was alright. I just said I was fine and ended the call.
