I’ve been getting persistent calls from this number that I really don’t fancy engaging with. I chose not to pick up, yet they seem undeterred and continue to ring.

I received a rather questionable call from someone claiming they could reduce my phone charges. However, there was something quite off about him. When I asked for the name of my current provider, he seemed utterly stumped. To top it all off, he had a thick foreign accent and gave off the vibe of being in a call centre. It definitely raised some red flags for me!

I picked up the phone and said hello but no one replied, then after a couple minutes of silence, I suddenly heard some strange foreign talk before they just cut me off. This has happened a few times over the past week from similar numbers, so it feels like a scam where they want me to ring back and rack up expensive charges. Definitely not falling for it.
