I reckon if they're saying there's an issue with a payment, it's probably just a dodgy scam.

Some guy called claiming to be from Sky, said there was a risky fault with my phone line. He was proper rude, talking to me like I didn’t know what I was doing. When he asked about how many gadgets we had on the internet, I said about 55 because we’re a software firm. Suddenly 55 software engineers were all wondering what the problem could be! Then he just cut the call. I was fibbing though 😝

This number called me a while ago, and it was a woman who just kept repeating "hello" like she wasn’t picking up what I was saying. I checked who it was through 1471, phoned back and a bloke answered. He mentioned that quite a few folks had called him about the same thing recently. Sounds like whoever rang me was spoofing that number to hide their actual one, which makes it pretty dodgy.

I got a call from 01782 253838 this morning around 8:30, but when I tried to ring back, it said the number isn’t working. Seems like it could have been some sort of scam or dodgy call. Better to be careful with these calls anyway.
