I received a call from a chap who insisted he was representing Microsoft, claiming my computer was infested with Trojan viruses. He then proceeded to offer me remote assistance. It was pretty obvious to me that his intentions weren’t genuine and that he was trying to get into my system, so I promptly declined his request to download the application he was pushing.
