Received a dodgy call claiming to be from O2. They were relentless in their inquiries about my mobile and broadband plan.

Got a call from some bloke claiming I’d won an O2 promo deal. I told him I’m actually with EE, then he goes, “I meant EE.” Problem is, I’m not with either of them! Proper confusing.

I've received multiple calls claiming that O2 have picked my number and I’ve supposedly won a whole year of unlimited texts and minutes! I just tell them, "No chance, mate!" and honestly, I get around ten of these calls every single day. What's even funnier is that the same chap can never pronounce my name right - it’s a right laugh! Cheers from South Wales!

The call was missed, and I didn’t recognise the number at all.

I didn't pick up, but last Saturday my bank account was compromised; they were attempting to make purchases left, right and centre. One of the transactions was nearly £1900! Thankfully, my bank managed to halt the card before any major damage was done. On Monday morning, I went to discuss it with the fraud team at my bank, and they revealed a staggering twelve different things tied to my card that I had absolutely no clue about. Now, my phone is bombarded with calls daily from various numbers. More often than not, it's the same two individuals calling, as they seem to know my name. Every time they utter my surname, they pronounce it incorrectly; it ends with "agh," which, when pronounced properly, should elicit an "a" sound at the end. Instead, they pronounce it with a "ch" sound, and after all these repeated calls, I can distinctly recognise the voices of the same man and woman, both sounding like they’re of Indian descent. It's quite uncanny!
