Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, but the voice sounded quite foreign. They wanted to get access to my laptop or PC to prove my broadband speed was being slowed down because of some fraud. I didn’t buy it for a second and ended the call straight away. Pretty sure this wasn’t really British Telecom.

Adding to what I said before about the foreign voice claiming to be from BT - if you try calling back, the line just gives you a dead tone, it’s impossible to get through.
