Got a call from a woman with an American accent on a recorded message saying I had to renew my Amazon Prime yearly subscription. She said if I had any problems or wanted to dispute it, I should press 1 to talk to an adviser. Thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account, so clearly it’s a scam. Just blocked the number straight away.

got a robocall claiming to be from amazon prime, said my account had some weird charges. sounded fishy to me, so i checked online and turns out its a common scam going around. dont fall for those recorded messages!

I've gotten loads of calls like this, supposedly from Amazon, saying my account is about to be renewed. It's clearly a scam. I reckon I've had around 10 calls now. Whatever you do, don’t push any buttons on the phone, just end the call straight away.

I've gotten quite a few calls from a woman claiming to represent Amazon. She told me my Amazon Prime was about to run out and that they'd be taking some money straight from my bank. I wasn’t fooled for a second, but I can see how others might fall for it, especially if they do have an Amazon Prime subscription. Quite a sneaky trick to catch people off guard!
