Got a robo call warning about some government hacking thing, telling me to call a different number or press one if it wasn't for me. Obviously just hung up straight away - not like I could check anything since there's no internet on this phone. But it must be working on some people, or they wouldn’t keep sending it so often. Surely there’s a way to stop these annoying calls?

Just ended the call without saying anything, same old story.

Got a recorded voice telling me the government got hacked through my IP, and that my internet would be cut off in 24 hours. Afterwards, a person actually called and asked how I was doing. I normally drag the convo out on purpose, which seems to get under their skin quite a bit.

Got this dodgy automated call last night around 10pm saying my iPhone's location was involved in some government hacking thing. They told me to ring back or else my landline would be cut off. Totally felt like a scam!

Just like the second comment, I'm getting one of these calls literally every day now. It's getting a bit much.

picked up the call, but nothing was said for like 20 seconds before it suddenly hung up.

Let the answerphone pick up. Was an automated message about the call being cut off or something like that. Then some American guy came on, said stay on for a poll. Thought it was a real person chatting, heard "hello, hello," but they didnt realise it was just my voicemail. Sounds like one of those internet provider scams everyone's mentionin, maybe with slightly different numbers.
