This lot are definitely a scam pretending to be from various “utility” services like ‘commercial utilities’, ‘united utilities’, or the ‘meter registrations board’, but they’re always ringing from the same few numbers! They use numbers like 01572343006 and others that all seem to end with 006. Despite us being on the TPS list, they’ve bombarded us with calls around 6 to 12 times daily for nearly two weeks now. When you ask for a proper contact, they sometimes give out 0161105182, but other times just hang up. They won’t tell you their company registration or website details either. Their aim seems to be fishing for meter numbers and who supplies your energy, which we never share.
