12 yearsI've encountered this dubious utilities company that's been bombarding me with calls, masquerading as 'Commercial Utilities', 'United Utilities', or the 'Meter Registrations Board'. What’s rather amusing is that they always phone from the same set of numbers! One of them is 01572343006, and mysteriously, all the digits seem to end in 006. Over the last twelve days, I've been pestered between six to twelve times a day, and despite being registered with the TPS, they just keep at it! When I’ve challenged them, they occasionally toss around a number like 0161105182, but other times, they simply hang up on me. They’re quite secretive as well; when asked, they refuse to share their company registration number or any website details. Their main goal appears to be extracting our meter number and energy supplier information, which, of course, we’re not willing to divulge.
