Had a bit of fun with a Microsoft con artist the other day. I put on my best act of being a clueless pensioner, yammering on for almost half an hour as he tried to pull me into his dodgy scheme. As the minutes dragged on, he got increasingly irritable and ended up lashing out. Quite the entertaining experience!

I received a rather peculiar call this morning at precisely 09:25. The caller, who spoke with an accent that suggested he might be from Asia, introduced himself as "Mike" and claimed to be representing Microsoft. He said he wanted to gain access to my computer. However, upon pointing out that his call reeked of a scam and was likely unlawful, his response was shockingly rude-he told me to "F..k off, you mother f..ker." Quite the charming individual, I must say!

Beware of this FAKE scam caller claiming to be from Microsoft. They try to convince you they have your Windows licence number and guide you on how to find it on your computer. Then they read it out loud, but this code is actually identical on all PCs, so their little trick always fools people into letting them install software and get into your system. Don't fall for this!

No idea who it was, didn’t leave any voicemail either. If they manage to ring me again, I reckon I’ll let the call charges pile up - might even find out who they are and then maybe ask them round for tea ;-) This is the first time I’ve had a call from a local number like that.

I keep getting calls from strange numbers, sometimes two or three a day, and this one was among them. Decided to get a phone that blocks calls automatically - it’s been brilliant. Now, only contacts saved in my phone can get through, and anyone else has to say who they are and hit the hash key. Most robocalls just hang up straight away.

Honestly, the government really needs to step in and deal with these annoying pest calls. I've got a call blocker but it doesn't seem to do anything against these persistent nuisance calls. Got a call from some bloke called Peter Wilson, said he was from Microsoft, somewhere in Thames Valley near Reading or something. Talk turned to my computer but when I didn’t play along with what he wanted, he started being really rude and asked if I “suck d*ck”. Then he went on about making me do it ‘cause he supposedly knows where I live. Proper creepy and nasty guy!

Got a call from someone saying they're from the Accident Advice Centre, but it was a total scam. They faked the caller ID showing an 01778 Bourne number, which is in Lincolnshire, but it was obvious it was some dodgy call centre overseas, probably in Asia. Definitely don’t trust these sorts of calls!
