I received a call from a woman with an Indian accent. She was trying to resolve some issue with a dodgy computer supposedly linked to Microsoft. When I inquired about how she obtained my number, she abruptly ended the call-just a bit odd, don’t you think?

Clearly a dodgy operation of some kind - some numpty rang up claiming I had a grave issue. I hung up straight away; if I had a serious problem, surely I’d be aware of it unless I’d lost my marbles!

I've just received a phone call from this number-surprise, surprise, it was yet another chap with an Asian accent. I informed him that we don’t possess a computer, and while I was tempted to let loose with some colourful language, I managed to hold my tongue this time. Rest assured, should he ring again, I'll be ready to tell him exactly what I think! Stay alert with this number; it's best not to share any personal information with them.

This morning, at half past eight, I received a rather intrusive call. Thankfully, I've got my phone on do not disturb mode, so it only lets through calls from selected contacts. I'm unlisted and have been inundated with such nuisance calls for ages. Plus, I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service! I’m seriously considering switching both my phone provider and my number to put an end to this.

This morning, at the crack of dawn around 7 o'clock, our landline rang with this number, jolting us from our much-needed slumber. We're both feeling rather under the weather today, which made it all the more unpleasant. I really wish I could ring them back just to hang up on them!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from the WINDOWS XP TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT, threatening to lock my computer unless I granted them access to my laptop. It's obviously a scam, yet I’m left pondering how we can put an end to this sort of fraudulent behaviour. Surely these individuals should face penalties or even imprisonment for their deceitful tactics?

It seems this number has been compromised; it actually belongs to a small family-run butcher shop. My heart goes out to them. I've received two calls from this number just today. I urge everyone to report it to the 'Fraud Action Police', which is a web-based service for such matters.

I recently received a call from someone identifying themselves as 'Ron Williams' who asserted that there was some form of unlawful gambling operation linked to my computer. He insisted that in order to rectify the situation, he needed remote access to my device. If I refused, he ominously threatened to impose a block on my system. I can’t help but feel concerned as I've heard of a scam sweeping through the US and Canada where individuals unwittingly grant access to such callers. Once they've gained control, they often lock the system and then extort money to unlock it, akin to a ransom scenario. Please, exercise caution with such calls and make sure to report any suspicious activity!

I recently received a call from a bloke named Sean who had quite the Asian accent. I enquired which area of the Emerald Isle he hailed from, but he merely continued with his rambling nonsense and began probing me about my computer. When I told him I didn’t own a computer, he insisted I was using one at that very moment. I assured him I wasn’t, and when he pressed me about who was, I firmly stated it was none of his business. His cheekiness escalated, and he told me it indeed was his concern. I snapped back with a rather colourful choice of words, and he had the audacity to chastise me for my language. I unleashed a torrent of expletives before hanging up. Honestly, I’m flabbergasted by the sheer nerve of these chancers!

Absolutely dodgy! They rang me before 8 in the morning, claiming to be from their so-called tech department. Honestly, I couldn't make heads or tails of what she was droning on about, so I just hung up on her. Total waste of time!

This morning, I received a call from someone purporting to be "Windows Care" and supposedly located in Leicester, England. They mentioned a fee of £100 to remedy any issues with my computer. I recently received a call from this number as well, and it turned out to be one of those dodgy Windows Technical scams. They try and convince you that your computer is infected with a virus, and before you know it, they’re asking for a little payment for some so-called Anti-Virus software. Next thing, your bank account is drained! This is the second time I’ve tackled this sort of nonsense in a month, but at least this one had the decency to display a number. My thoughts go out to Mrs Smith as this has obviously nothing to do with her. Just so you know, I didn’t hold back when it came to expressing my outrage - I let loose with an avalanche of expletives after keeping the scammer on the line for a good ten minutes.
