I got a call from a bloke with a really strong Indian accent, and honestly, I struggled to catch what he was on about at first. After a bit, I worked out he wanted me to verify if someone still lived at an old address they left like 15 years ago. I told him that info was totally wrong, and then he just ended the call.

If I don’t know the number, I just don’t pick up. They keep calling but never bother leaving a message.

I just don’t understand why these annoying lot keep pestering our old and vulnerable folks. What’s wrong with Ofcom or the government stepping in to shut this down? Feels like maybe some of the big wigs in government are getting a cut from these scammers or something. When you miss a payment to Sky, they cut you off straight away, no questions asked. So why are these scam callers given free rein to keep causing misery? It’s disgraceful, really.

Yesterday, i was out shopping when a bloke rang me asking if i could spare 40 seconds for a quick chat. I said i wasnt able to talk but he kept insisting so i just hung up on him. Then today i got a call back, seemed like the same guy, but this time the number was 07940 603366. He said he was James from Today’s Living and once again asked for 40 seconds. I made it clear i didn’t want any more calls and hung up again.
