Received a call on my Stranraer landline from a number also based in Stranraer. The bloke on the phone claimed he was from Microsoft, working out of Manchester Business Park (first fib). He then went on about how my internet was supposedly infected from multiple countries (another blatant lie). I told him to look up "Microsoft scam calls" online because Microsoft never contacts folks directly, and these calls are dodgy. Best advice? Don’t engage with them at all. These scammers never stop trying.
